Learning about Long Read Sequencing Utility and Applications

The opportunities for long read sequencing continue to grow and evolve.   New instrumentation, improved software, optimized library protocols and novel analytical tools are routinely made available, increasing the value of these technologies.  Long read technologies have impacted many areas of genetics and genomics including reference genome and control datasets, genome assemblies and comprehensive assessment of highly repetitive or polymorphic regions. 

The purpose of these seminars remains to provide an environment to learn how the scientific community is using long read sequencing data in research and clinical environments.  This seminar will focus on Pacific Biosciences and invited speakers will present the utility of this platform in their research. Members from Pacific Biosciences will also share the latest advancements in their technology and applications.
